The Women's Center's staff and volunteer team brings thousands of hours of collective experience. Our team of over 100 volunteers—including therapists, job coaches, attorneys, financial counselors, event planners, computer and database experts, electricians and office personnel—is highly recognized and well respected in our community. In addition to an active Board of Directors, our staff consists of three full-time, three part-time and one volunteer worker.
Kimberli Cumming, who has been with The Women's Center since 2001, serves as Executive Director. She is assisted by Angie (Angela) Moore, Community Liaison/Agency Administrator and Marnie Leavitt, Clinical/Communications Coordinator. They are joined by part-time staff members Joan Kauffman, Volunteer Coordinator; Renae Shaw, bookkeeper; and Job Coach Pat Albright. Nan Richter, volunteer staffer, serves as Program Evaluator/Coordinator.
Among the loyal volunteers that make our programs possible are about a dozen of Michigan's best and brightest graduate student interns in social work and counseling. These hard-working interns come to us from graduate programs at Eastern Michigan University, Michigan State University, Siena Heights University, Spring Arbor University, University of Michigan, Wayne State University, and others. Talented undergraduate students from the University of Michigan and Eastern Michigan University assist with related activities.
