The Women's Center benefits from enormous community support. Donations of all kinds from community members and local businesses arrive at our door on a regular basis. Our paper supplies (from toilet paper to copy paper) are donated by benefactors from the community and occasionally, by clients. Our office furnishings and used computers, maintained by dedicated volunteers, have been donated as well.
We receive weekly donations of freshly-roasted coffee, fresh flowers, bread, and other sweet things from the following businesses:

The fragrant coffee and flowers help us to ensure that beauty, dignity, and respect are part of the experience for women and girls who visit The Women's Center. A rotating gallery of women's original artwork provided by photographer Mari Pruks and the Ann Arbor Women Artists further enhances the beauty of our space and hastens the path to well-being for our clients.
Financial support for our programs has come from both the public and private sectors including state, county, and city grants, private foundations, and corporations. We benefit from a broad individual donor base and our annual fundraising efforts have increased each year.
Funders include:
City of Ann Arbor, James A. and Faith Knight Foundation, Kiwanis Club of Ann Arbor, Ann Arbor Thrift Shop, Ann Arbor Area Community Foundation, and the First Unitarian-Universalist Congregation of Ann Arbor.

Additional resources that contribute to the success of our Ann Arbor-based women's resource center include a vast referral network of medical and mental health professionals, religious leaders, teachers, social service agencies, and, most important, client word-of-mouth.
