ENTERTAINMENT

The Lollies

Samantha West and Natalie Sevick are sisters and bandmates who have been making music together since they were old enough to start singing along to their dad’s Beatles records. The pair can most often be seen performing a blend of pop, rock and blues throughout Michigan as part of their family band, Lolly and the Pops. They are excited to perform as a special acoustic sister duo for the Women’s Center of Southeast Michigan’s Spring Soirée, celebrating music, sisterhood, and the amazing women in our community.

lollyandthepopsmusic.com

“We are so excited to be a part of this event — something that is powered by women and for women. Music is such an important part of who we are, and it gives us so much joy to perform together. During the pandemic, those opportunities basically vanished. We are grateful to be able to make music together again and share it as part of such an important cause.”

Tammy’s Tastings

Meet Tammy Coxen!

As the Founder and Chief Tasting Officer of Tammy’s Tastings, Tammy Coxen has been sharing her enthusiasm for food and drink for over 15 years. This has included creating artisanal chocolates, hosting gourmet underground supper clubs, and leading food-and-drink tours to places like New Orleans. She is the co-author of the cocktail book Cheers to Michigan, and had been a long-time co-host of Michigan Radio's cocktail segment with Lester Graham, through this past February.  She also writes a monthly column for Hour Detroit magazine. Her favorite drink is usually the one she’s never tried before.

Tammy will be delighting Soirée guests with a demonstration, mixing a special cocktail, and sharing a taste!
